Original Owner Warranty
For the original owner Llewellyn frames hold a three-year warrany for tube failure and a lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship.* The Llewellyn original owner warranty does not cover frame breakage or failure caused by:
- improper maintenance
- incorrect fitting of components
- accidents of any nature
- frame fatigue
- rider or owner negligence
- incorrect installation, overtightening, or cross threading of components or fasteners
- use of the frame for any purpose other than for which it was originally designed
- tubing failure beyond three years of original delivery date
- frame repairs by non-Llewellyn-approved entities.
Any frame repair by any entity other than an entity approved by Llewellyn Custom Bicycles voids the warranty.
If, during repair of an apparent workmanship defect, the frame is found to have undisclosed accident damage or undisclosed previous repair, the Llewellyn warranty is void and the repair will be carried out at normal frame repair pricing payable by the customer requesting the repair.
*An example of a workmanship defect is if a brazeon falls off under normal use; it does not include if a fork breaks when the bike hits a car.
